New Holiday Celebrates Elderly Internationally, Based in Cleveland, Ohio

Love for the Elderly Enacted First-Annual “Love for the Elderly Day” on December 15th, 2018.

Cleveland, OH, January 01, 2019 --(PR.com)-- Love for the Elderly Day, created by Jacob Cramer, was inspired by the 5-year-anniversary of Love for the Elderly, an international non-profit based in Cleveland, Ohio aimed at supporting and showing compassion towards the elderly. It started when, as a 13-year-old boy, Jacob wrote a few letters to a senior facility, a simple act that ignited a passion for serving the elderly and the creation of a global non-profit.

December 15, 2018 marked an out-pour of celebration dedicated to life, love, and support for the elderly through writing letters of love in classrooms and at home to the elderly, visiting loved ones, and sharing inspirational quotes donated by letter artists on social media.

By the year 2050, over one billion people will be 65+ years of age (an age typically classified as “senior”). The mission of Love for the Elderly Day is to spread love to as many seniors throughout the globe as possible.

Cramer said, "Love for the Elderly Day should not only be an annual tradition, but a daily mission and goal for all."
