Free 3D Printable Parts from the Redcat Racing Engineering Team

It seems overboard that they would find the need to add even more value to their products, but they have. Redcat is releasing is releasing free 3D printable parts files to anyone who wants to print custom parts and accessories from their home.

You can find these free downloads on the Redcat Engineering Thingiverse webpage. Once on the Redcat page, you’ll have access to an ever increasing library of free custom parts for your Redcat Racing vehicles.

About the Gen.8 International Scout II

The Gen.8 International Scout II is the first fully original Redcat vehicle, designed and developed, in entirety, in the USA.

The Gen.8 includes high end features like portal axles, front and rear CNC machined spools, divorced transfer case, adjustable wheelbase, licensed International Scout II body with a rigid mounting system, 1.5 mm C-Channel chassis frame rails, aluminum threaded shocks, precision steering with pan-hard bar and proper Ackerman angle, licensed Interco Super Swamper tires with 1.9 bead-lock rims, LED ready headlight and taillight buckets, rubber sealed ball bearings, and a 61º approach angle.

The Gen.8 has gone through strenuous beta testing before its release, with the help of the RC community, and has proven to be one capable rig.

Gen.8 printable parts
Some of the Gen.8 printable files include headlight adapters, skid plate lock nut block, electronics relocation brackets, accessory plates, alternate battery brackets, and fan mounts for those who want to upgrade their power system.

Gen.7 printable parts
The Gen.7 printable files include body modifications, body accessories, automated FPV camera mount, gear covers, servo plate, bumper mounts, and more.
