Toll Brothers Colorado Staff Raises Over $6,000 for Men's Health Issues

Fort Collins, CO, January 16, 2019 --(PR.com)-- For the third year in a row, Toll Brothers Colorado Division joined the Movember Foundation to change the face of men’s health. During the month of November, participating staff members (and even spouses) grew a mustache in support of men’s health. The Colorado Division’s goal was $5,000 which was surpassed with a figure of $6,007 - second for the most money raised in the company.

“We chose the Movember Foundation because we like its mission of addressing big health issues that a number of us Toll Brothers’ staff members, as well as family and friends have faced - prostate cancer, testicular cancer, and mental health and suicide prevention,” explains Mark Bailey, Toll Brothers Colorado Division President.

“We appreciate our senior project manager, Matt Foran, who organizes the event every year,” says Bailey. “We all have a lot of fun participating. Even female participants devised a homemade mustache to compete for prizes and most money raised.”

Toll Brothers gave prizes to staff members in the following categories:

Baddest mustache – Erik Isaacson
Boldest – John Hesse and Wes Christensen
Spousal Support – Alexis McCoy
Largest Amount Raised – Dave Foster
Female Face – Leslie Reed
Best Meme – Wes Christensen

According to the Movember Foundation, the organization is independent of government funding, so it can challenge the status quo and invest quicker in what works. In 15 years, the Foundation has funded more than 1,200 men’s health projects around the world.
