Shake Off Your Mental Health Stigma at Tiffany Roe's 2nd Annual Self-Love Dance Party

Instagram's "pink-haired therapist" Tiffany Roe will help local women celebrate self-love and mental wellness with an evening of dancing, activities, and inspirational talks.

Orem, UT, January 22, 2019 --(PR.com)-- If you've resolved to make mental wellness a priority in 2019, you won't want to miss Tiffany Roe's Self-Love Dance Party – the ultimate night of funky moves, tasty treats, and loving yourself.

The event, now in its second year, will be held on Saturday, February 16, 2019 from 7 to 10 p.m. MST at Noah's Event Venue in Lindon, Utah. Instagram's pink-haired therapist Tiffany Roe invites anyone 18+ who wants to "dance hard, build community, and love themselves" to join her and special guest speaker Evelyn Tribole at the party.

"Moving our bodies in a way that is fun and judgment-free promotes mental wellness," says Roe, a licensed counselor who owns Mindful Counseling in Orem. "I wanted to create this self-love dance party for people to break through mental health stigma and break out some sick moves on the dance floor."

Roe began throwing dance parties to provide a safe, no-pressure place for people to invest in their own wellness. The result was last year's hugely successful inaugural self-love dance party, where attendees were able to meet others and form a community of "like-minded warriors."

"The camaraderie and connection at our first dance party was palpable," Roe adds.

More than 300 guests are expected at this year's party, which will feature a professional DJ, swag bags with exclusive merchandise, hair braiding, a photo booth, snacks, and an Italian soda and dessert bar. Guests will have the chance to participate in a Q&A with Evelyn Tribole, award-winning dietitian and coauthor of the bestselling book Intuitive Eating: A Revolutionary Program That Works, and hear a pep-talk about self-love from Roe herself.

"Aside from the photo booth, the tacos, the giveaways, and the dancing, the best part of the night was when Tiffany spoke to everyone about mental health, therapy, and the stigma around it," says a previous dance party attendee named Mishele.

Roe promises that guests will leave her self-love dance party with a greater sense of love and compassion for themselves – and a greater appreciation of '90s hip hop.

"We want to change the mental health game and make stigma a thing of the past," she says.

Tickets for Tiffany Roe's Self-Love Dance Party are $40 per person and can be purchased through EventBrite.
