Kristen Wild has nearly 25 years of development and advocacy experience.

St. Louis, MO, January 24, 2019 --(PR.com)-- Operation Food Search (OFS), a non-profit hunger relief organization, recently named Kristen Wild as its new Executive Director. She succeeds Sunny Schaefer, who served as Executive Director for 22 years.

In this position, Wild will be responsible for overseeing all agency services ranging from emergency food distribution and childhood nutrition to advocacy programs and nutrition education. She will play a major role in continuous fundraising efforts and innovative team development, as well as cultivating donor and community relationships. Wild also will ensure sound financial practices, supervise the organization’s policies and procedures, and maintain ongoing communication with board and team members.

Wild joins OFS after serving as Executive Director at the Ladue Education Foundation & Alumni Association where she increased annual revenue from $45,000 to $1.9 million in five years. She previously worked in numerous capacities for various advocacy and education environments including Autism Speaks, Sylvan Learning Centers, and St. Louis Public Schools.

“We are excited to welcome Kristen to our organization, and we look forward to watching her take the lead in establishing new partnerships and bringing additional community resources to our agency,” said Lisa Pelikan, Chairperson of Operation Food Search’s Board of Directors. “Like her longtime predecessor Sunny Schaefer, Kristen is a true leader who will skillfully guide us into the future while maintaining our mission to eliminate food insecurity.”
