Morton Grove Foundation Announces Taste of Morton Grove on March 7, 2019

The "Taste of Morton Grove" will be held on March 7, featuring a variety of local restaurants sharing their cuisine helping the Morton Grove Foundation to support many local charities.

Morton Grove, IL, February 28, 2019 --(PR.com)-- This year, the Morton Grove Foundation will host its 31st Annual Taste of Morton Grove on Thursday, March 7, 2019, 5:30 p.m. at the White Eagle Event and Convention Center, 6839 N. Milwaukee Ave., Niles, IL.

This event is open to the public. Tickets are $35.00 if purchased in advance or $45.00 if purchased at the door. Tickets are available at Morton Grove Village Hall (6101 Capulina Avenue), Fire Station 4 and online at www.tasteofmortongrove.org. Reserved tables are available for those purchasing tickets in groups of 10.

The Taste features wine tastings from Binny’s Beverage Depot of Niles and samplings from 24 popular establishments including: Psistaria Greek Taverna, Gulliver’s, Culver’s, Nothing Bundt Cake, Point Tavern, Heinen’s of Glenview, Grazianos, Catered by Design, China Chef, Dairy Queen, Las Fuentes, Mesa Urbana, Moretti's, Rayan Market, Shake Shack, Wildwood, Maggianos, Eli Cheesecake, Morton Grove Firefighters, White Eagle, Kappy’s American Grill, Giordano, Boston Fish Market, and Stefani’s.

Guests will enjoy entertainment by All Events Entertainment, cash raffles, wine raffle and a silent auction featuring tickets to Cubs, Bulls, White Sox, Chicago Wolves, Chicago Dogs, Medieval Times and other sports team and entertainment venues, jewelry from Tiffany’s, gift certificates for dozens of popular restaurants and stores and many unique items and experiences.

All proceeds support local charities and civic organizations that have a direct impact on Morton Grove and the surrounding community. This year’s beneficiaries include the American Brain Tumor Association- Paul Fabbri Memorial, American Legion Post 134, Association of Horizon For Autistic Kids Foundation, Foundation for Nager and Miller Syndromes, HAVE Dreams, Maine-Niles Association of Special Recreation, Misericordia, Moose Family Center, Morton Grove Baseball & Softball Association, Morton Grove Days Commission, Morton Grove Farmer's Market, Morton Grove Historical Society, Morton Grove Sportsman Club, Morton Grove Woman's Club, Niles Township Food Pantry, Orchard Village, Rebuilding Together -North Suburban Chicago, RGA Specialized Living Center, SEED Foundation, Shore Training Center, Standing Tall Charitable Foundation and Turning Point.

The Morton Grove Foundation is an all-volunteer, not for profit organization dedicated to providing resources to benefit the welfare, education, environment and safety of area residents. To date the Foundation has raised and disbursed over $800,000 to local charities and civic organizations.
