Reinvesting in Infrastructure

Advancing in Technology

Minneapolis, MN, March 01, 2019 --(PR.com)-- Anchor Plastics, Inc. started 2019 by spending three quarter of a million dollars in infrastructure. The recently retired 330 ton press started its life with Anchor in 1993. The 26 year old machine produced millions of parts and is still viable to run today. As technology advances, Anchor embraced the change and decided to retire the old machine and purchase a new one. The new injection molding machine will allow more capacity to meet their customer’s needs.

The Roboshot S300iA series is an all-electric injection molding machine designed to produce higher accuracy parts with more reliable control. With the machines larger shot size, it will now allow parts for up to 3 pounds. This gives potential options for our customers who have larger parts to be produced.

With the built-in design of a maintenance alert, the early warning system will now identify problems before they arise. Anchor will be able to tend to any potential problems on the machine without stopping production giving their customers the satisfaction of knowing their products will be delivered on time.

Anchor Plastics, Inc. is keen on long term reliability. Being in business for over 50 years requires the perseverance to serve its customers, staff, suppliers, and community to its highest excellence. This investment will generate more capabilities than ever before giving customers the products they need.
