The Knowledge Group Has Scheduled a Live Webcast on Navigating the CMS Quality Payment Program and Pathways to Success Sweeping MSSP Changes

New York, NY, March 03, 2019 --(PR.com)-- The Knowledge Group/The Knowledge Congress Live Webcast Series, the leading producer of regulatory focused webcasts, announced today that it has scheduled a live webcast entitled: Navigating the CMS Quality Payment Program and Pathways to Success Sweeping MSSP Changes Live Webcast. This event is scheduled on March 28, 2019 @ 3:00 pm – 4:30 pm ET.

Event Synopsis:
With the goal of shifting the health care system from fee-for-service to value-based care, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) completely overhauled the Medicare Shared Savings Program (MSSP) in its Pathways to Success rulemaking in December 2018. The new MSSP rule addresses many of healthcare's cost, quality and population health challenges and makes important changes for accountable care organizations (ACOs) participating in the evolving Quality Payment Program (QPP) created by the Medicare Access and CHIP Reauthorization Act of 2015 (MACRA).

With the shifting MSSP and QPP landscape in the backdrop, an up-to-date and detail-oriented strategy is essential to ensure MSSP ACOs are prepared to succeed in the QPP, through its Merit-Based Incentive Payment System (MIPS) or Advanced Alternative Payment Model (AAPM) track, and understand the impact of the MSSP changes.

Listen as a panel of distinguished professionals organized by The Knowledge Group provide the audience with the most important aspects of the recent changes and developments surrounding the QPP and MSSP. Speakers, among other things, will describe the interactions of the new rules and requirements and address best compliance practices and practical tips to avoid potential risks and pitfalls in light of the recent updates.

Key issues that will be covered in this course are:
- Overview of Key QPP Changes
- MSSP Program Changes
- MSSP and the new QPP Rule
- Managing Opportunities and Risk Issues
- Recent Compliance Trends, Developments and Updates
- Best Compliance Practices
