Family Lawyer Lydia S. Terrill Elected to Serve on MBA Judiciary Committee

King of Prussia, PA, March 06, 2019 --(PR.com)-- Vetrano | Vetrano & Feinman Family Lawyer Lydia S. Terrill was recently elected to serve on the Montgomery Bar Association’s Judiciary Committee. Effective January 2019, her new position carries a four-year term.

Ms. Terrill attended her first meeting as a member of the committee in February. The committee interviewed and made recommendations with respect to the judicial candidates of Montgomery County. This service is typically provided to the general public when the time comes to vote.

Ms. Terrill is an associate lawyer with Vetrano, and as such, has chosen to limit her practice to areas of family law, such as divorce, child support, custody, alimony, and property settlement agreements. She was selected for the 2018 Montgomery Bar Association’s Leadership Academy, and has spoken for various groups, including the Nicholas Cipriani Inn of Court, and most recently, the Pennsylvania Bar Association Family Law Section Meeting.

The Judiciary Committee has acted, since 1965, as a self-governing committee within the Montgomery Bar Association. The Committee is tasked with the responsibility to review the qualifications of every candidate for the office of Judge of the Court of Common Pleas of Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, and to advise the public of its recommendations. The Committee’s members consist of the ten most recent Past-Presidents of the Montgomery Bar Association, along with 24 elected members-at-large. The Committee’s members, who are all lawyers, have a broad range of ages, backgrounds, practices and geographic areas of Montgomery County.
