Operation Food Search to Present at School Nutrition Association's Conference

St. Louis non-profit agency representatives to give insight, facility tour.

St. Louis, MO, May 16, 2019 --(PR.com)-- Operation Food Search (OFS), a non-profit hunger relief organization, will participate in the School Nutrition Association’s (SNA) 73rd Annual Conference to be held in St. Louis July 14 through 16. More than 6,000 representatives from across the nation will be in attendance.

Operation Food Search Director of Child & Family Nutrition Brian Wieher, along with Manager of Child Nutrition Programs’ Melissa Weissler will present their “At Risk-Afterschool Meals: Rebranding Supper as a ‘Super Snack’” program at the conference.

OFS will also host a tour titled “Helping Heal Hunger in Missouri” at its headquarters located at 1644 Lotsie Blvd. The onsite program will be led by Wieher and OFS’ Director of Policy & Innovation Trina Ragain. Participants will see firsthand the organization’s food distribution and nutrition education center, as well as take part in a hands-on food cooking demonstration with OFS’ registered dietitians and nutrition education team.
