Three nonprofit Veteran Service Organizations – Veteran Launch, The Rosie Network and the National Veterans Transition Services, Inc. (aka REBOOT) – are bringing together business experts to support veteran and military spouse entrepreneurs in starting or expanding their businesses. American River College will host the event at the Student Center.
“Veterans own 9% of all businesses in the U.S., generating $1.22 trillion in annual revenue,” reports Air Force veteran Mike McGrane, Senior Vice President and NorCal Lending Officer at Veteran Launch, “but military discipline and work ethic are only the foundation for success.” The Summit is designed to help veteran and military spouse entrepreneurs work on the three key components to grow a successful business: 1) practical entrepreneurship training, 2) access to capital and 3) finding good mentors.
