)-- The integration means that MOG’s central ingest solution can now support NDI input/output for recording and live production with mxfSPEEDRAIL’s new mediaNDI, a software application specifically designed to support NDI video gateway to record four streams of NDI in Avid, OP1a, QT, MP4, XDCAM, XDCAM EX, XAVC, FLV, HLS, MPEG-DASH, WebM, MPEG-DASH WebM, MPEG-TS, Matroska, and IMF formats. The solution guarantees the most efficient streaming video production possible, with no need for satellite trucks or RF infrastructures.
Additionally, mxfSPEEDRAIL’s mediaREC, mediaLIVE, and mediaPLAY will also fully integrate NDI’s standard protocol, guaranteeing the maximum flexibility for the customer’s production environment:
- mediaREC is an NDI / IP / SDI Video Recorder for content production, post-production, finishing, and distribution, up to 8K resolution. mediaREC is a powerful and flexible multi-format SDI recording system that can capture baseband and IP Live signals.
- mediaLIVE can encode NDI, RTMP, HLS, MPEG-TS and other live video streams in real-time and compresses it for distribution to viewers, delivering the highest video quality at minimum bitrates with low latency. With multiple social media streaming outputs like Facebook, YouTube Live, Twitch or Periscope.
- mediaPLAY is a channel playout solution fully tailored for NDI / IP / SDI channel origination, management, delivery and play-on-air with master control switching with clip playback and enables multi-format and multi-resolution, up to 8K.
MOG Technologies mxfSPEEDRAIL offers a centralized solution that allows customers to improve their workflows for recording and streaming video without being limited to high-end workstations with complex infrastructures, making the ingest process easier and simple.
“The video world is moving to computers, software, and networks. MOG Technologies mxfSPEEDRAIL with NDI offers an integrated and cost-effective video delivery solution, because NDI can be deployed on existing networks without new networking infrastructure,” said Michael Kornet, executive vice president and general manager of NDI for NewTek. “There is less need for dedicated IP-based transmitting and receiving devices creating an unprecedented era of efficiency, cost savings and creativity.”
MOG Technologies breathes innovation since day one. A brilliant team of media experts has developed world-class media libraries, state of the art broadcast systems, and a cloud-based interactive and multi-content platform that enables the strong engagement of any size communities. Communities that can now share, play, connect and transform all kind of content into truthful virtual experiences.
MOG technology offers the ultimate technology to connect communities, leading them to deeper engagement, greater knowledge, immersive environments, and expected behaviors.
NDI is in the hands of millions of customers worldwide and allows multiple video systems to identify and communicate with one another over IP. NDI can encode, transmit and receive many streams of high quality, low latency, frame-accurate video and audio in real time. This benefits any network-connected video device, including cameras, converters, video mixers, graphics systems, capture cards, and many other production devices. #NDIcentral
