New Resort Retirement Community, Maravilla Scottsdale Names Veteran Management Team

Scottsdale, AZ, April 02, 2008 --(PR.com)-- A veteran management and sales team has been assembled for Maravilla Scottsdale, a planned resort retirement community under development in Scottsdale by Senior Resource Group (SRG). Tim Cowen has been appointed executive director and Joy Ricci, sales and marketing consultant. Completing the Maravilla team are sales executives, Genie Heer and Jeannine Braunberger; and marketing coordinator Kathleen Allen.

Prior to joining Maravilla Scottsdale, Cowen worked as executive director of Silver Springs and Amber Lights, two SRG communities located in Green Valley and Tucson, Arizona. There Cowen oversaw the daily operations and maintained SRG’s high-level of resident service. Prior to joining SRG, Cowen was president of Advantek, Inc., a Minnesota based manufacturing and distribution firm with offices world-wide.

As Maravilla’s sales and marketing consultant, Ricci is responsible for all sales and community outreach activities, as well as educating prospective residents about the community’s one-of-a-kind programs and benefits. With over 25 years of experience, she has served in a variety of marketing, sales and management roles in the senior housing industry. Most recently, Ricci acted as regional marketing manager for four of Greystone Communities’ full service retirement communities in Phoenix, Chicago, Las Vegas and Palm Springs.

Maravilla’s two sales executives have a combined 30 years of experience working with senior living service providers. Most recently Heer and Braunberger were a part of the sales team at Classic Residence by Hyatt in Scottsdale. Heer holds a Bachelors of Science degree in business administration from Southeast Missouri State University. Braunberger holds multiple professional certifications including: Retirement Housing Professional, Assisted Living Manager and an Arizona Real Estate license.

Marketing Coordinator Kathleen Allen brings to Maravilla more than 26 years of marketing, outreach and development experience. She has held numerous healthcare marketing roles within the Phoenix area including positions at Sun Health, Baptist Hospitals and Health Systems. Allen’s primary role at Maravilla will be to assist Ricci with all outreach and prospect education activities.

Situated on 25 acres in the northern end of Scottsdale, adjacent to the Fairmont Scottsdale Resort and TCP Golf Course, Maravilla Scottsdale will be a 410-unit continuum of care community. Scheduled to open by spring 2011, this resort retirement community will feature a variety of floor plans ranging from casitas and independent living to assisted living and memory care residences.
