Kastri/ Creta Maris Beach Receives the “Blue Flag” for 6th Consecutive Year

Kastri/ Creta Maris beach, the beach of Creta Maris Beach Resort, was awarded for sixth consecutive year with the voluntary eco-label “Blue Flag” of the international “Blue Flag” program.

Crete, Greece, June 26, 2019 --(PR.com)-- On the occasion of the celebration of the award, Creta Maris held a cleaning action of the beach, with the voluntary participation of the local pre-school “Zouzounakia.” The fifty students of the standard eco-nursery proceeded with the cleaning of the beach together with the resort’s Green Team and employees, thus turning into action the message for clean shores and seas.

The celebration was honored by the presence of the President of the Hersonissos’ Municipal Community Mrs. Tsichli Aikaterini, the Hersonissos’ Port Authority Chief, Mrs. Athanasia Perisinaki, the doctor of the Cretan Medicare Center Mr. Dimitris Batsis, and the resort’s guests and employees.
