Rice moved to the Tampa Bay area with her family in 1984 and received her Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from the University of South Florida, where she was a member of the education honor society Kappa Delta Pi.
She taught elementary school in Tampa and later Sarasota, taking pride in her ability to truly know each one of her students and help them achieve their individual goals. She has built trusting and lasting relationships with countless families and other teachers.
Although Rice has loved her teaching career, she always knew that one day she would use the real estate license that she acquired during a summer off from teaching years ago. With her husband in the homebuilding and remodeling business, she has been able to actively keep a pulse on the local real estate market. She is confident in her skills to go above and beyond to ensure the best home buying experience for each of her clients.
