Oceana Coffee Gives Away $500 to a Local Charity

Oceana Coffee will announce the winner of this quarter’s Cup of Kindness contest and reward them with $500.

Tequesta, FL, July 15, 2019 --(PR.com)-- In 2018, Oceana Coffee created “A Cup of Kindness,” since then, they have donated $1500 to local charities. Through this local charity initiative, Oceana Coffee chooses 3 charities per quarter to highlight at their local retail stores and to their online customers. Over the course of 3 months, customers have the opportunity to vote for the charity of their choice by dropping a coffee bean in a jar with the logo of their charity of choice. At the end of the quarter, the beans are weighed at the check presentation event and one lucky charity wins the grand prize, $500.

On Friday, July 26th at 6:00 pm, Oceana Coffee will host their quarterly check presentation. There will be live music, raffle items, and food and drink specials. (100% of proceeds from raffle tickets sold at the event, will be given directly to the charity with the most attendees at the event. Past raffle prizes have graciously been donated by Oceana Coffee, Food Shack, Tequesta Brewing Company, and Josco Bar and Oven, to name a few.)

Oceana Coffee will announce the next round of charity partners and give them the chance to speak about their local mission. Next round of charities include; Wahine Warriors of Tequesta, FL., Hannah’s Home of Tequesta, FL., and Live Like Jake of Jupiter, FL.

Past winners include; Els Center for Autism, Jupiter, FL., Furry Friends of Jupiter, FL., and Kayla Cares for Kids of Jupiter, FL.

"Kayla Cares 4 Kids is very grateful to Oceana Coffee for their generous support of nonprofit organizations like ours. Their impactful donation will help pay for deliveries of DVDs, game consoles, video games, board games and books to approximately 10 children's hospitals and Ronald McDonald Houses nationwide. It will also jump start our newest pilot program locally, which will provide Kayla Cares 4 Kids Fun Centers in doctors' waiting areas. Their support is making a big difference both here in the community and across the country!" - Kayla Abramowitz
