3rd Annual Cars & Coffee at Cobble Beach

Kemble, Canada, July 27, 2019 --(PR.com)-- The Cobble Beach Concours d’Elegance presented by Porsche is pleased to announce the return of Cars & Coffee at Cobble Beach on Saturday September 14, 2019 from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM. The 3rd Annual Cars & Coffee at Cobble Beach is a gathering of 175+ prized classic automobiles adorning the lush driving range and tee-boxes of Cobble Beach Golf Resort. With Georgian Bay as the backdrop, cars from all over Ontario will gather to celebrate the spirit of the automobile - making this event the highlight of any car enthusiast’s year. “We wanted to create this event so we could recognize and appreciate the incredible vehicles that may not fit the requirements for the Sunday Concours, but should be celebrated none the less,” said Rob McLeese, founder and chair of the Cobble Beach Concours d’Elegance. “Cars & Coffee at Cobble Beach also allows the community to truly become part of this amazing weekend,” added Mr. McLeese. Being an automotive enthusiast however, is not a prerequisite to enjoy this event. Saturday offers a diverse range of activities including a vendor market, automotive seminars, food truck market and Hagerty’s Classic Ride & Drive program where you can drive a classic automobile on the county roads of Grey Bruce. Don’t forget, the weekend also offers the opportunity to stroll the fairways and soak up the gorgeous views of Georgian Bay.

Proceeds from the 3rd annual Cars & Coffee at Cobble Beach are in support of the Owen Sound Regional Hospital Foundation. The hospital provides a wide range of services from emergency, ambulatory care, oncology, pediatrics, critical care and surgery. The funds raised will go towards the purchase of the necessary equipment for the hospital.

Those wishing to see more cars can also take to the streets of Grey Bruce County as the Concours Participants’ Tour presented by Piloti will make its way from Cobble Beach south to Grey Roots Museum and Archives through Owen Sound on Saturday morning. Leaving Cobble Beach at 9am, they will be on parade through the town’s streets by 9:15am. Back on site at Cobble Beach Golf Resort Community, Hagerty Insurance will be offering their Ride & Drive program where attendees can drive or ride along in a vintage automobile. Closing off the afternoon will be 2 seminars which are sure to delight car lovers, also free to attend, however pre-registration is required.

The 2019 Cobble Beach Concours d’Elegance presented by Porsche takes place Saturday, September 14 & Sunday, September 15, 2019 featuring judged (vehicle) classes ranging in automobiles from the early 1900's to present day. On Saturday, September 14, the Participant Tour will take place on local county roads as well as Cars & Coffee at Cobble Beach. Sunday, September 15, the Concours d’Elegance will be held on the 18th fairway of Cobble Beach Golf Resort & Community overlooking to beautiful blue waters of Georgian Bay.
