ImmerVision Appoints Vice President – Video Surveillance Applications
ImmerVision has appointed Yves Messier as the new Vice President of Video Surveillance Applications. He will be responsible for directing sales marketing and project management for the Video Surveillance Applications Business Unit internationally. ImmerVision develops Panomorph optics and software to enable panoramic functionality for any video device application used for security.
The VSA Business Unit’s mission is to promote the adoption of ImmerVision’s IMV1-1/3 Panomorph lens into video surveillance and monitoring applications. The IMV1-1/3 Panomorph lens simply attaches to an existing standard analog or IP camera giving it 360-degree viewing capability, without blind spots and with greater visual detail than other panoramic lenses such as mirror and fisheye.
“I am pleased to join the ImmerVision team and look forward to working with its customers and partners to deliver new ImmerVision Enables applications in the CCTV market," said Mr. Messier. “My mandate is to leverage ImmerVision’s unique 360-degree Panomorph technology and promote its adoption to all sectors of the Video Surveillance industry”.
“Yves brings us extensive sales and marketing expertise in the security industry,” said Alessandro Gasparini, Chief Commercial Officer. “He has a proven track record of effectively selling and leading large scale projects related to security technology solutions. He has an unmatched understanding of the potential for ImmerVision’s panoramic technology and his extensive experience in the video surveillance industry makes him an excellent fit for our company and this position.”
Mr. Messier and the ImmerVision team will be at Booth 2041 at the ISC West Show in Las Vegas, April 2nd thru 4th at the Sands Expo and Convention Center.
ImmerVision’s revolutionary Panomorph technology is the recipient of the 2007 Frost & Sullivan Award for North American Technology Innovation of the Year.
