New York, NY, September 04, 2019 --(PR.com)-- On Thursday, August 29th, Presiding Officers of Corporate Responsibility Council on the Advancement of Women, consortium formed by collaborative entities under the umbrella of the Economic, Social and Cultural Council of the African Union (ECOSOC) have announced that they are hosting a parallel event at the United Nations in observance of the World Rural Women’s Day on October 15th. The event is sponsored by the Permanent Mission of Sierra Leone to the United Nations and co-organized by Global CSR Foundation and African Views Organization. The goal of the organizers is to observe the Rural Women’s day with focus on enhancing greater economic and fairer business engagement with effort to assist the Organs in the implementation of its SDG 10 mandate. Expected Event Participants include Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassadors, Civil Society Activists and Leading Global Entrepreneurs, Global Companies’ Leaders from Public, Private, and Independent Sectors. Jing Zhao Cesarone, the CEO of Global CSR Foundation, has been elected to serve as the Executive Chairperson for the Conference.
