Psychological Associates Vice President Named Nonprofit's Board Chair

Dr. Emily Ingalls to lead Emmaus Homes' Board of Directors.

St. Louis, MO, October 12, 2019 --(PR.com)-- Dr. Emily Ingalls, Vice President of Organizational Consulting at Psychological Associates, was recently appointed as Board of Directors Chairperson for Emmaus Homes. Founded in 1893, the nonprofit provides high quality residential services to adults with developmental disabilities.

Ingalls will lead the Board and Executive Committee by carrying out its governance functions, as well as overseeing all Board members in terms of recruitment and development. Ingalls has been a board member of the organization since 2013.

Ingalls joined Psychological Associates, a consulting company that applies behavioral science to business performance, in 2016. She has a Master of Arts and a Ph.D. in Industrial-Organizational Psychology. She is a member of the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology (SIOP), the Gateway Industrial-Organizational Psychologists group, and the National Human Resources Association. Ingalls has served as an adjunct professor at Maryville University and University of Missouri-St. Louis.

“I became connected to the organization through an internship while I was in graduate school,” said Ingalls. “I felt connected to their mission because I have family members who receive similar services in my home state of Minnesota.” Ingalls added that she is “very honored and humbled to serve as the Board Chair.”
