Annapolis Spa Party Brings "Shop-N-Spa" to Navy Marine-Corps Stadium in Annapolis; Event Connects Businesses with Local Fashionistas

Shop-N-Spa, a boutique shopping event produced by Annapolis Spa Party, is expected to draw 300 plus women to the Navy Marine Corps Stadium on Saturday, April 26th for an evening of shopping, complimentary spa services, a fashion preview, wine tasting, dance lessons and more. Marketing packages are designed to help business reach local, fashion-forward women through web, print and event marketing.

Annapolis, MD, April 08, 2008 --(PR.com)-- At a time when businesses are scrambling for ways to sell to today’s discriminating consumer, a new player has emerged on the local marketing scene, with a goal of doing just that. Shop-N-Spa, Spring 2008, is scheduled for Saturday, April 26, from 6 pm to 10 pm at the Navy Marine-Corps Stadium in Annapolis. This event, produced locally by Annapolis Spa Party, offers upscale boutique shopping at discounted prices combined with free spa and beauty services. Attendees can also enjoy wine tasting, a free professional dance lesson, and a fashion show - all in one evening.

“Our events are created for the woman who loves trendy clothing, accessories and beauty products. She may shop at Neiman Marcus, or Target, and everything in between. And she definitely loves boutique shopping,” says Event Relations Director Valerie Schantz.

“For an affordable admission of just $15, you can enjoy all of the complimentary services, food, wine, and - discounted shopping all night. It’s the ultimate Girls’ Night Out!” says Schantz.

For businesses that target local, affluent “fashionistas,” such as clothing boutiques, salons, and yoga studios, Shop-N-Spa offers affordable sponsorship and vendor packages starting at $315.

“For less than the cost of a print ad, Shop-N-Spa vendors receive a web link from the event site, www.shopnspa.com, a six-foot table at the event, two outfits featured in our fashion show, ‘Goodie Bag’ marketing, and an ad in Style Finder, our post-event guide to the boutiques, products and services of Shop-N-Spa,” says Marketing Director Erica Hergenroeder.

“Our goal is to help vendors grow their business before, during and after the show. In today’s market, getting out there and creating personal relationships with new customers is important, because competition is fierce,” says Hergenroeder.

Hergenroeder and Schantz are betting that they can accomplish two things, even in a challenging economy. First, attract fashion-loving women for a fun night of discounted shopping, and put dollars into the pockets of participating vendors. The event is Saturday, April 26, indoors at the Navy Marine-Corps Stadium in Annapolis, from 6-10 pm. For more information, please visit www.shopnspa.com or call 443-994-4791.
