)-- New year, new name. CHEERS, a California Energy Commission approved entity, announces its name change to California Energy Registry effective January 1, 2020.
The company has used the name, "CHEERS" for more than 10 years, achieving company and product recognition across California. Builders, contractors, HERS Raters and other industry professionals will find no change in the quality of product or services offered. California Energy Registry, also known as Cal Energy, will continue to provide the modern technology platform their customers love and the exceptional customer support that CHEERS is known for.
To better amplify the company’s message and mission of compliance with California's building energy code, Cal Energy is also launching a new website designed to inform and connect key industry stakeholders as they navigate their projects through California's stringent energy regulation.
