Bridge The Gaps Announces D-U-N-S Number Receipt

Bridge The Gaps, a non-profit 501(3)(c) organization connecting underprivileged athletics and education, announced its official receipt of their DUNS number.

Houston, TX, November 16, 2019 --(PR.com)-- Bridge The Gaps targets underprivileged and at-risk students already proven to succeed in academic environments and provides ancillary funding opportunities that allow them to utilize those partial scholarships.

“The Data Universal Numbering System (or D-U-N-S number) is a unique nine-digit identifier that has become the standard numbering system to identify businesses across the globe,” said Omar Durham, President and CEO. “Our approval of the D-U-N-S number is another opportunity for Bridge The Gaps to position our organization as an accredited, fully-transparent, non-profit association,” Durham continues.

Bridge The Gaps offers a variety of programs that can utilize grant funding through local, state, and federal contracting opportunities. Programs such as their BAMM (Behavior Attitude Mental Mentoring) program, will have greater success rates through government funding initiatives that are only available to D-U-N-S recipients.

“We have also partnered with professional grant writer, Gloria McGowen, to help us with our grant initiative. Mrs. McGowen brings an abundance of grant writing knowledge and expertise that will help our at-risk youth programs,” Durham concludes.
