Operation Food Search Marks 40-Year Anniversary with Dierbergs Markets

Dierbergs donates an overall total of more than $50 million worth of product to the St. Louis nonprofit.

St. Louis, MO, January 31, 2020 --(PR.com)-- Operation Food Search (OFS), a non-profit hunger relief organization, recently celebrated its 40-year partnership with Dierbergs Markets. Employees volunteered at OFS, packing boxes of food donations. All of the packed food was purchased and delivered to OFS by Dierbergs.

During the 40-year partnership, Dierbergs has donated more than $50 million worth of product and given $865,000 in monetary contributions.

“Our agency would not be able to sustain our level of community support without the assistance of Dierbergs Markets,” said OFS’s Executive Director Kristen Wild. “Their organization has played a crucial role in our expansion over the past 40 years, and we look forward to our ongoing partnership and all that it will achieve for St. Louis.”

“Ensuring that members of our communities don’t go hungry is a very high priority to Dierbergs,” said Dierbergs Markets’ Vice President and Secretary Laura Dierberg Padousis. “Having our associates get involved to learn more about our partnership with OFS and the impact we make together is certainly a special opportunity.”
