Four Arrested at City Park After Detection by Sonitrol Pacific

Police arrested four teens suspected of burglary and vandalism at a city park after Sonitrol Pacific's silent alarm detected threatening activity April 11.

Hillsboro, OR, April 16, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Sonitrol Pacific’s silent alarm system led police to arrest four individuals suspected of burglary and vandalism of a shed at a city park early morning April 11.

Signal activations were received in Sonitrol Pacific’s operations center by an experienced operator. He verified the alarm through real-time audio sensors and dispatched police.

Police officers responded to the call and found a shed on the park property had been burglarized and vandalized. They surrounded the property and located four suspects, one 18-year-old, two 17-year-olds, and one 16-year-old.

According to police, the teens were out drinking prior to the burglary. The suspects face burglary charges and possibly alcohol related charges.
