Teamworki Launches Free Product to Measure and Improve Morale of Remote Teams

While 32% of remote workers enjoy having a flexible schedule, 20% struggle with collaboration and communication, according to study published by Buffer and AngelList in 2020.

Saskatoon, Canada, April 30, 2020 --(PR.com)-- As the coronavirus spreads around the world, more companies are asking their employees to work from home. According to The 2020 State of Remote Work study published by Buffer and AngelList, 32% of remote workers enjoy having a flexible schedule, but 20% struggle with collaboration and communication. While remote working comes with challenges, team leads can use free tools like Teamworki (www.teamworki.com) to improve collaboration, track team morale, and boost employee happiness.

Founded by Diego von Söhsten and Mitchell Woodhouse Mckenzie, Teamworki is a Canadian startup based in Saskatoon. Launched in October 2019 to a closed group of early adopters and now available to the public, it’s already being used by over 600 employees from companies in more than 10 countries, including Canada, United States, Brazil, United Kingdom, Mexico, and India.

“In the past two weeks, we had more teams using the platform than in the past 3 months,” says Diego von Söhsten, co-founder and CEO of Teamworki. He believes that the coronavirus pandemic is forcing companies to quickly adapt to the new reality and look for software solutions that can help their team leads improve team morale.

In fact, professional well-being is becoming more important than ever. The Harvard Business Review recently published an article on tips for managing remote employees, pointing out that loneliness is one of the most common complaints about remote work. The authors also recommend managers to establish daily check-ins and listen to employees’ anxieties and concerns.

Teamworki allows employees to submit feedback on a regular basis, create an agenda for meetings, and establish action items. Managers can also track team morale with the help of a sentiment analysis technology that measures happiness and gives a score from 0 to 5 to each employee and team.

“It’s not an HR tool, but a platform for managers who understand the need of gauging morale as a way to retain talent and improve productivity,” explains Diego von Söhsten. By his projections, Teamworki should have 1,500 active teams using the platform by the end of 2020.
