Peter Wrench Wins the Client Retention Award and ProfitCLUB of the Year Award at the Asia Pacific Conference

It’s not a matter of hours in the week, but what you do with the hours.

Las Vegas, NV, April 18, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Peter Wrench savours personal challenge, setting new benchmarks and scaling new heights. Today, based on Victoria’s beautiful Mornington Peninsula with his family, his ActionCOACH clients are local business people. It’s a far cry from his days as an unfocused 19-year old who scraped together money for a tools franchise in depressed Lancashire.

“I wanted money. I thought business people had lots of money. So I went into business. I was nearly bankrupt at 20.”

Peter resurrected his business after seeking advice and re-educating himself. By the time he turned 24, his franchise had catapulted from number 427 in the UK chain to number 2, with a world ranking of 17. As Peter’s success grew, he stepped into other company franchises to revitalise them. “People had to be willing to step up to the plate and learn,” he maintains. “”If not, I found someone who could.”

Just to make life interesting, Peter acquired other business interests, including a recording studio and a carpet business. However, his real passion was rally driving. Never one to do anything by halves, Peter started building his own cars, employing 4 mechanics and using the profits from other businesses to fund this money-hungry enterprise. By the time he secured second position in the British Rallying Championship, he had begun to explore the possibilities of driver training.

After coming to Australia to coach for the tool franchise, fate stepped in. Surfing the net for ‘Action Sports’, Peter clicked onto ‘ActionCOACH’ and liked what he saw. “When I joined ActionCOACH, I was one of only 10 coaches in Victoria,” he said. “Today there are 30 or 40. Eventually, it will be the norm for every business to have the 3As – an attorney, an accountant and an ActionCOACH to help them execute their business plan.”

In Victoria, Peter achieved his dream of establishing a rally driving business with a CAMS certification, so it can train and license drivers. He retains other business interests and ‘hands on’ involvement with his beloved rally driving. He sees his future as more of the same. “I love what I’m doing. You have to strike a balance between business and family life. Being able to do that, and do it well, comes down to your work ethic and endurance level. It’s not a matter of hours in the week, but what you do with the hours. I’ll do more training and more workshops. I’ll be a coach’s coach … making it fun … linking in games …”

Recently, Peter proved he had not lost his touch when it came to his driving skills. Appearing in the Crusty Demons Stunt Motorbike Show in front of 35,000 people, Peter put on a stunt demonstration, then smashed the world record for executing 10 consecutive donuts in 12.89 seconds – shaving 2.4 seconds off the existing record. ActionCOACH, business achiever, family man, champion rally driver - it’s a winning combination for a man on the move.
