Auto Coatings Manufacturer Selects DEACOM Software to Drive Formula-Based Business

Wayne, PA, April 18, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Deacom, Inc. announces today that NPA Coatings, Inc., a subsidiary of Nippon Paints of Japan, will implement the DEACOM Integrated Accounting and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Software System to streamline its business processes across two divisions at its Cleveland, OH, headquarters.

A producer of finishes primarily for the automotive industry, NPA Coatings, Inc. selected the DEACOM Software System to replace multiple non-integrated systems that were used to handle its business and lab processes. Formulation, labeling, Quality Control (QC) testing, and regulatory reporting were performed outside of their ERP system. This setup required numerous manual and electronic workarounds.

"Our old software systems were very dated and kept us from optimizing the way we work," explains NPA Coatings, Inc. CFO Gary Rizzardi. "The switch to DEACOM should really help us manage our business more effectively and help us to continue to grow."

By implementing the DEACOM ERP System, NPA Coatings, Inc. will integrate its entire business, including formulation and lab management, QC, regulatory reporting, sales order entry, purchasing, inventory control, production, and accounting, all in one integrated software system. The DEACOM System will give the company the ability to have all of their business processes structured around a single system. Because of this integration, the implementation process will include a complete re-evaluation and streamlining of NPA Coatings' business processes.

NPA Coatings, Inc. is scheduled to go live on the DEACOM Software System in the fall of 2008.
