Mariel Lane Receives Lifetime Achievement Honor

An outstanding young woman from Memphis, TN receives Lifetime Achievement Award.

Dallas, TX, April 30, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Mariel Angelique Lane was selected as the first ever crowned Recipient of the Miss Universe Ambassador Lifetime achievement award from Dr. J’Lynn Howle, CEO of the World Universe Ambassador Organization.

Miss Lane received the prestigious accreditation for her astounding career achievements in the field of pageantry. She has successfully held more than (25) state, regional and national titles. Currently she is the reigning Miss Teen National America 2008. A junior with a 3.25 GPA, Miss Lane's career objective is to receive a scholarship in Dance with concentration in Classical Ballet and a minor in Political Science/Communications.

Miss Lane surpassed a rigid 10 point qualification process which included; Documenting over 600 hours of community service, education and Leadership skills, goodwill to others, commitment to ethical and moral conduct. Her recommendations are exceptional as well as her extraordinary achievements to date. She is a positive and highly esteemed role model.

She recently received the Outstanding Young Woman of Memphis award, by The Memphis Women’s Magazine. She has been selected to attend the January 2009 Inauguration of the 44th President of the United States. Presently she is a Model with the Colors Agency. She has also received an invitation to dance at the upcoming 2008 Orange Bowl.

Miss Lane is the daughter of Mr. Michael and Dr. Victoria Lane. A passionate Ballet/dance enthusiast. She enjoys drama, recently played the role of Maria in Rogers and Hammerstein’s “The Sound of Music”. In addition, she enjoys singing, shopping and spending time with her family when not competing in
pageants.

The World Universe Ambassador Organization proudly presents this great Honor upon Miss Lane for her continuous pursuit of excellence. She receives a Lifetime appointment in the World Universe Ambassador National Honor Society and qualifies for prestigious national award programs. The Miss Universe Ambassador lifetime title will be recorded in the Royal Registry of The Library of Congress and copyrighted to Miss Lane as the only individual to receive this designation.
