Sound Authors Radio Show Announces May 2nd, 2008 Show Lineup

World Talk Radio broadcasted on the Modavox network features Sound Authors, a live interview talk radio show.

New York, NY, May 02, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Each Friday at 1PM Eastern Standard Time, Sound Authors radio show features live interviews and readings from all varieties of authors, known and not-yet-known; all soon-to-be bestselling authors from all walks of life, from Hollywood actors to marathoners, to PhD therapists or life coaches. On this talk radio show, it is the story that counts. Authors sound off on every possible topic, from cuisine to culture, and from nature to nurture.

The show also podcasts each interview separately, and all archived podcasts can be searched from the Sound Authors website at www.soundauthors.com.

The first author guest this week will be Philip Seib, author of Broadcasts from the Blitz: How Edward R. Murrow Helped Lead America into War. Seib’s research interests include the effects of news coverage on foreign policy, political journalism, and media convergence. He is author or editor of 17 books and a veteran print and television journalist.

The second guest featured on the show will be Roy Foster, author of Luck and the Irish. His work is usually published under the name R. F. Foster and he is considered as one of the foremost "revisionist" Irish historians. Foster’s much acclaimed two part biography of William Butler Yeats was awarded the James Tait Black Memorial Prize, and also collaborated with Fintan Cullen on a National Portrait Gallery exhibition, 'Conquering England: the Irish in Victorian London.'

The third guest on the show will be Eric A. Plumer, author of The Da Vinci Code Phenomenon: Why Its Claims Struck a Chord. Plumer investigates the contemporary events, ideas, and movements that fostered Dan Brown’s unprecedented dominance of best-seller lists and dinner-table conversation.

The musical guest for the show this week will be piper Matt MacIsaac. Matt’s very traditional piping CD aptly named The Piping Album is a strong selection of tunes that shows the range and the strengths of this Cape Breton piper. After years competing solo and with pipe bands Matt now enjoys the best of both piping worlds as a professional touring musician.
