Mr. James Worthy was raised in Gastonia, North Carolina, and evolved into a McDonald’s All-American during his high school years. Upon graduating high school, he went on to make a name for himself at The University of North Carolina. In 1982 he helped lead the Tar Heels to the NCAA Men’s National Basketball Championship. The Lakers selected him with the first overall pick in the 1982 NBA draft. Named one of the 50 Greatest Players in NBA History, he was a seven-time NBA All-Star, three-time NBA champion, and the 1988 NBA Finals MVP with the Los Angeles Lakers, where he spent his entire professional playing career. He was inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame in 2003, leading to the retirement of his jersey number by UNC and The Lakers. He established the James Worthy Foundation and dedicates a substantial amount of his time and resources to support non-profit community organizations such as Boys & Girls Clubs, Big Brothers of America, and the YMCA. James is currently a sports commentator, television host, and analyst for the Los Angeles Lakers and a partner in M3Linked Los Angeles.

Mr. Daniel Swartz is a Los Angeles native and a graduate from the University of Arizona with a degree in Media Arts and more than 20 years of television production experience. He has produced and directed more than 1000 hours of television with a focus on sports and sports media. Daniel invented and sold a next-generation coed competitive game for television. He has been influential in multiple business ventures, including owning and operating an indoor baseball training facility and introducing Mattel Junior Golf to a global stage. Daniel enjoys his three children, two dogs, and a friendly round of golf in his free time.

Mr. David Babbush is a native of Cleveland, Ohio, and has been a resident in Los Angeles for 30 years. A seasoned restaurant veteran of more than 25 years, David has held many positions with various companies such as The Hillstone Restaurant Group (formerly Houston’s), Koo Koo Roo, Rubio’s, and Panera Bread. He most recently filled the role as an Operating Partner of a Panera Bread Franchise, overseeing operations, new café openings, led 400+ employees while generating $25 million in annual sales. When not working, David enjoys spending time with his wife, Debbie, a Los Angeles native, their two daughters, and their dogs.
