Merdeka Coffee and ANZA to Work Together

Merdeka Coffee has agreed to supply coffee to ANZA (the Australia, New Zealand Association) on an exclusive basis in Jakarta, Indonesia.

Jakarta, Indonesia, March 28, 2006 --(PR.com)-- From the 24th of March, 2006, ANZA's Usni's Cafe will be selling Merdeka Coffee to its members. ANZA (the Australia, New Zealand Association) is one of the largest non-profit expatriate associations in Indonesia. Apart from providing a social focus for the expatriate community, ANZA also plays a critical role in providing funding for a number of Yayasan and social projects.

Merdeka Coffee has donated the espresso blend to ANZA, with ANZA distributing all profits from the cafes sale of espresso based drinks to the various charities ANZA works with throughout Jakarta and Indonesia. Plunger coffee is also beng donated- a different blend is highlighted each week.

Merdeka Coffee will also work with ANZA in selling retail packs of specialty coffee to members. A percentage of the sales from every retail pack will go direct to the ANZA charities, whilst sales of the coffee also directly help the coffee communities that Merdeka Coffee works with. 

Merdeka Coffee was founded in 2001 with the aim to help develop fair and equitible trade practices with small-hold growers throughout Indonesia.

ANZA house, where Usni's Cafe is located, is open 9am-4pm Monday to Friday. The address is 81B Kemang Raya, South Jakarta.
