WPO Tampa Bay Chapter Hosts Women Empowering Women Business Luncheon

Women Business Leaders Recognize Mayor Pam Iorio And Raise Funds For Local Non-Profit Mentoring Organization.

Tampa Bay, FL, March 30, 2006 --(PR.com)-- The Women Presidents’ Organization (WPO) Tampa Bay Chapter will host the first annual Women Empowering Women business luncheon on Wednesday, April 5 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at The Centre Club at 123 South Westshore Blvd. Wachovia Bank is a national partner of the WPO and will be the premier sponsor of the event.

Mayor Pam Iorio will receive the first annual Women Empowering Women Award at the luncheon where she will be recognized and honored for her contributions and her key role in empowering and inspiring women of all ages. Iorio will share experiences that have encouraged and empowered her to become a successful leader.

The luncheon will raise funds for The Ophelia Project of Tampa Bay, a local non-profit organization whose vision gives girls a strong sense of self and guides young women to become successful women leaders in their communities and in businesses.
