Martial Arts Program for Special Education Students

New Horizon Karate has created a program for students with Hyperactivity, Autism (Asperger's) and other non verbal learning disabilities. This program is taught in six week intervals and is designed to help the student to learn social as well as defensive skills. This program is a physical or moving based learning program.

Worcester, MA, May 22, 2008 --(PR.com)-- New Horizon Karate has created a program for students with Hyperactivity, Autism (Asperger's) and other non verbal learning disabilities. Master Alty has been teaching students with physical or learning challenges for more than 25 years. This program is taught in six week intervals and is designed to help the student to learn social skills. This program is a physical or moving based learning program. The class length is 45 min. Each class will consist of movement and social games and workout play to improve students physical, balance, strength, and coordination thru a variety of movements and fun exercises.

Focus and concentration will be addressed by hand and eye coordination skill training. The classes will be both fun and functional.

Parents are encouraged to wait in our lobby and watch the class on a TV screen.

The program includes a karate uniform, white belt, training guide, patch, character development program and 6 weeks of classes.
