Belgrade, Serbia and Montenegro, May 31, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Colliers International Serbia has secured major office deals in Belgrade within the last weeks for leading international companies including Bayer, Heineken, Canon and ASUS. The deals were achieved by Colliers International Serbia's Commercial Brokerage Services Department.

Colliers International Serbia successfully settled pharmaceutics giant Bayer in 1500 m2 of Class A office space in Serbia's first business park, Airport City Belgrade. Bayer will conduct all its operations throughout Serbia and the region from these headquarters.

Airport City Belgrade will also be a starting base for all the local business operations of Heineken. Having taken over the renowned local beer manufacturer MB and named the new company Brauerei MB, Heineken has placed their new Serbian office in Airport City. It is a 630 m2 Class A office space.

Bosko Tomasevic, Senior Consultant, Colliers International Serbia, who completed both transactions, said: 'I am particularly pleased to have the opportunity to co-operate with two world-renowned brands such as Bayer and Heineken. These are companies that know how to appreciate all the advantages of the superb office space offered by Airport City. I am sure that other German and Dutch companies will follow their example.'

Colliers International Serbia also completed two big transactions with electronics manufacturers. The renowned manufacturer of computer main boards, ASUS, was settled in Vorex office building in New Belgrade. The company leased 250 m2 of office space in order to conduct all their operations in Serbia and Albania. And Canon placed their representative office in AZZARO building in New Belgrade.

Nikola Djogatovic, Consultant, Colliers International Serbia, said, 'The opening of ASUS and Canon headquarters, who are both leaders in electronic equipment, represents success not only for Colliers International Serbia that sourced this office space for them, but for the business map of the capital, as well.'

Jovica Jakovac, Managing Director of Colliers International Serbia, concluded, 'Besides providing our standard services, our goal is to promote Belgrade's business real estate market throughout Europe and globally on one hand, and on the other hand to educate local investors in terms of the office space requirements that distinguished companies have. In this manner we will help the local market improve and we consider this to be our mission in the years to come.'
