Three Suspected Vandals Apprehended After Detection by Sonitrol Pacific

Audio detection technology installed at a Washington middle school captured the sound of three juveniles at the school, allowing sheriff's deputies to arrest the suspects before any damage was done to the school.

Snohomish, WA, June 01, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Sheriff’s deputies apprehended three juveniles at a Washington middle school after Sonitrol Pacific’s audio sensors detected threatening activity May 24.

An experienced Sonitrol Pacific sound analyst was monitoring activity at the school when a couple of audio sensors activated. She listened to real-time audio from the school, heard sounds that indicated three individuals were there and immediately called the sheriff’s department.

When deputies arrived at the school, they located and apprehended the juveniles. Officers responded so quickly to the call from Sonitrol Pacific that the three suspects were in custody before any damage was done to the school.
