PINK Compass Launches Women’s Media Venture, Partners with Charities

PINK Compass, an online and events media company helps women achieve balance in their professional and personal lives and donates 5% of gross profits to charity.

Dallas, TX, June 05, 2008 --( PINK Compass today announced the formal launch of its website – PINK Compass is an online and events media company dedicated to educating, encouraging and supporting women who are trying to achieve balance in their lives. PINK Compass has committed to donate 5% of their gross profits to their charity partners. Initially, PINK Compass will be targeting the Dallas/Ft.Worth market with plans to expand to other cities in 2009.

Founder & CEO, Sher Bodden founded PINK Compass based on her own experiences as a wife, mother and friend. “I enjoy a very fulfilling life, but it wasn’t always that way. I’ve had to work hard to figure out how to balance kids, husband, career, friends, family, and still have time to give back in my community. The same goes for most of my friends. PINK Compass was created as a place where women can go to learn how to find balance, to connect with each other, to share experiences and find fulfillment.”

The PINK Compass website sections are Biz, Entrepreneurs, Watercooler, International, Arts & Entertainment, Beauty, Relationships, Living, Poise, Shape, Spirit and Wanderlust. The Ask Medora column offers advice on a wide range of topics and invites visitors to submit questions online. Polls are inserted throughout the website that provides visitors with a means to give feedback on PINK Compass and other subjects. Jake’s Take column is written to offer a unique biased male perspective.

Every Friday, Meet the Expert opens online chat with an expert from fields such as entrepreneurship, law, business, psychology, health and fashion. Visitors can submit questions via chat directly to the expert and receive immediate feedback.

In Summer 2008, PINK Compass will host a series of live social events in Dallas/Ft. Worth that will give women a chance to connect beyond the website. These events will be co-branded with PINK Compass’ partners and charities.
