More Women Business Owners (WBO) Chapters Forming in Northern California
Women Business Owners (WBO) is an international 501c3 non-profit organization, founded in February 2004, supporting the women behind the business with online and offline resources. WBO members have been leading local business groups around the country for several months. Recently, some members of WBO have decided to start local WBO business chapters.
WBO is setting itself apart from other networking groups. WBO is more affordable than other groups and WBO is so supportive; they make a difference in women’s business and personal life. Christina says, “WBO is providing safe, secure places where women are able to feel comfortable and are free to be themselves. They can share knowledge and ask questions while gaining the knowledge they need to succeed in their business and personal lives. We will be incorporating networking with learning time along with an educational segment. The evening meetings will have a “girls night out” theme with a more relaxed atmosphere than the daytime meetings. The daytime meetings will be only an hour and being in the middle of the day, we don’t want to interfere with the actual “running” of your business.”
Christina’s meetings are in 4 locations:
Fairfield meetings: noon on the last Monday of the month at Marie Calendars, 1750 Travis Boulevard, Fairfield, CA.
Sacramento meetings: noon on the last Thursday of the month at Applebee’s Restaurant, Natomas, 3601 Truxel Road, Sacramento, CA.
Vacaville meetings: 7-8:30pm on the 2nd Friday of the month at the Olive Garden Restaurant, 100 NutTree Parkway, Vacaville, CA.
Woodland meetings: 7-8:30pm on the 3rd Friday of the month at Casa deSapore, 929 Court Street, Woodland, CA.
An open invitation from Christina, “I would just like to say that I am so excited to be here and be part of this and bring this opportunity to women in our area. Women business owners reading this – if you want support in your business, if you want to be empowered as a woman business owner, if you want to increase your skills or share your knowledge with other women, I want to invite you to the Solano, Yolo, Sacramento (also known as sys) WBO Chapter here in Northern California.”
