Cortiva Institute Announces Two New Scholarship Funds

Hoboken, NJ, June 09, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Cortiva Institute announces the establishment of two new Scholarship Funds. The program will provide scholarship funds for Massage Therapy education at any of Cortiva Institute schools nationwide. The scholarships will be awarded to promising massage therapy applicants and the selection process will include top leadership from Cortiva Institute.

“With employment of massage therapists expected to increase until at least 2016, there is a demand for well-trained therapists,” says Alan Jordan, Corporate Director of Education for Cortiva. “Cortiva is excited to announce the launching of both new scholarship programs and we are grateful to the massage therapy industry leaders who have worked with Cortiva to make this possible.”

The Founders' Scholarship is a $2,000 award issued to an eligible student at each school in honor of the work and dedication of the founders of our schools. These remarkable individuals dedicated their lives' work to massage therapy and education. The Cortiva & Massage Magazine scholarship program is a partnership to help eligible students invest in their education and become massage therapists. Each scholarship is $500 and awards are given up to four times per year.

The schools that will receive the scholarships include: Cortiva Institute - Boston, Watertown, MA; Cortiva Institute - Chicago, Chicago & Crystal Lake, IL; Cortiva Institute - Pennsylvania School of Muscle Therapy, King of Prussia, PA; Cortiva Institute - Scottsdale, Scottsdale, AZ; Cortiva Institute - Somerset School of Massage Therapy, Wall & Piscataway, NJ; Cortiva Institute - Seattle, Seattle, WA; Cortiva Institute - Humanities Center School of Massage, Pinellas Park (Tampa), FL; and Cortiva Institute - Tucson, Tucson, AZ.
