John O'Connor Named Workforce Readiness Director of Raleigh-Wake Human Resources Management Association (RWHRMA)

ESGR Volunteer Aera Chairman named Workforce Readiness Director for Raleigh-Wake Human Resources Management Association Chapter.

Raleigh, NC, April 06, 2006 --(PR.com)-- Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR), a Department of Defense agency, congratulates Mr. John O’Connor, ESGR North Carolina Volunteer Area Chairman, on his appointment as Workforce Readiness Director for the Raleigh-Wake Human Resources Management Association (RWHRMA).

When asked about this additional volunteer obligation, O’Connor said “I consider this appointment an honor. It allows me to help an organization that has the respect of industry leaders nationally, regionally and here in North Carolina”.

O’Connor will be responsible for developing workforce readiness initiatives and programs for the nationally recognized Raleigh-Wake Human Resources Management Association chapter (RWHRMA).

“It should come as no surprise that my volunteer work in developing ESGR Strategic Partnerships with the national office of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) will also be of benefit to our 450 chapter members and the other committed SHRM members in North Carolina,” added O’Connor.

Mr. O’Connor is the President of Career Pro, Inc., a Raleigh, North Carolina-based Executive Search, Talent Acquisition and Consulting Firm. In 2004, Mr. O’Connor became the first private practice Certified Federal Search Trainer (CFJST) in North Carolina.

He has been featured in and is the author of many articles, in the Raleigh News Observer, Resume Writing Digest, The Gladiator, Execunet, Career Masters Institute Monthly Newsletter and Monster Career News.
