Two Industry Leaders Team Up to Help Local Businesses Benefit from the Internet

Stream pairs with the world’s largest Internet Consulting Group to provide viewers with information on best practices for eBusiness.

Mississauga, Canada, April 10, 2006 --(PR.com)-- Two heavyweights in the Internet business, Stream and WSI (We Simplify the Internet), have teamed up to provide expert support to local businesses. Business owners who tune into Stream, the world’s first broadband TV channel, will benefit from a four-part series on business and the Internet from WSI Internet Consultant, Chris Coney. The first part in the series can be found in the Business Support section of the Stream website, www.streamline.co.uk.

Funded by Hull City Council, Stream will feature business news, local business profiles, business support and special features on matters concerning business in the area. A revolutionary feature of Stream is that it requires no special software to be installed in order to view it. It is a free, on-demand service that can be viewed in a normal web browser. Stream aims to keep local businesses up-to-date by providing information and support that business owners will find useful.

Although only a short time into its inception, Stream has already teamed up with Chris Coney, a computer science graduate from the University of Hull and a Grimsby-based Internet Consultant with WSI. WSI’s network of Internet Consultants have over 1500 offices in 87 countries and worldwide provide Internet marketing solutions to small and medium sized businesses (SMEs). At their state of the art studio in Hull, Stream worked with Chris Coney to develop and produce a four-part feature on best practices when considering any kind of Internet presence.

This series will provide new and existing businesses with valuable and impartial information on key considerations for companies to effectively represent themselves on the Internet. The initial four-part series covers Web presence, Web promotion, Web marketing and tracking results. Chris Coney’s knowledge, coupled with the unique capabilities of Stream, backed by the expertise of WSI ensures that the information provided in this series will help traditional business owners benefit from the Internet.
