TechBiz Connection Presents Panel Discussion on How to Make Money in Broadband Media

Irvine, CA, June 12, 2008 --(PR.com)-- TechBiz Connection (http://www.techbizconnection.org) will host a distinguished panel of business leaders and innovators who will discuss how to make money in broadband media at its monthly forum on Wednesday, June 18 from 6:00 to 9:00 PM at The Student Center at the University of California, Irvine.

According to Jack Bicer, TechBiz Connection president, one of the fastest growing trends in technology today is broadband media. Its explosive popularity means changes for emerging businesses, their customers and their competition. A panel of experts will share their expertise in helping identify new and emerging market opportunities in broadband media. They will discuss the tools available to launch and monetize an offering and how to take advantage of unique market opportunities. Anyone involved with streaming media, social networking, interactive games, or IPTV will find this event of extreme interest.

The panel moderator will be John D'Angelo, CEO, RevX System, a provider of advanced revenue management systems for digital media, voice and data service providers. He is responsible for developing new business and strategic partnerships in broadband markets including new media, data and software-as-a-service. Prior to RevX, D’Angelo was CEO of Entelagent Software and held financial management positions on Wall Street and in banking. He is a CPA and board member of TechBiz Connection.

The panelists include:

Jeff Karnes, vice president of marketing and products for VoloMedia, which provides advertising, metric, and reporting solutions that help publishers unlock the value of their downloadable video and audio assets while enabling advertisers to accurately target high-value emerging markets. Karnes has over a decade of experience in product and marketing focusing on the emergence of digital media both within the enterprise and direct to consumer. Most recently he led the products efforts at Yahoo! launching their video portal and managing their video search, audio search, image search, and podcasting products.

Bob Drobish, chief operating officer, True Games Interactive, is responsible for the business and operations aspects of the company. As an online games operations executive, Drobish has built and managed live game teams, technology organizations, customer support groups, and India support teams. Based on his experience in optimizing micro-transaction revenue models and community development, he has been a speaker at the Austin Game Conference and the Orange County Venture Group.

Bryan Hill, CEO, TodoCast.tv and IP Access International, has been in the satellite communication industry for over 10 years working with telecomm executives to develop their satellite offerings and products. Most recently in the last four years he has turned IP Access into the premier satellite service provider to enterprise and government customers including Homeland Security. TodoCast.tv represents the latest in his innovative ideas which leverages satellite communications, video and entertainment.

Robert Entrican, CTO and co-founder of RevX Systems, provides advanced revenue management systems for digital media, voice and data service providers. Entrican has over 20 years of progressive technology and leadership experience within the software industry. He is a practicing applications architect, technical strategist and frequent public speaker. Prior to launching RevX Systems, Entrican was the co-founder, CTO, and lead visionary behind the products formerly known throughout the industry as Erogo which were the seedling products of RevX Systems.
