Frontier Soups Adds Two Mixes for Dips and Cooking

Frontier Soups is adding two new dip and cooking spice mixes to the lineup of products that complement its mainstay dry-mix gourmet soups.

Waukegan, IL, June 13, 2008 --( The new mixes, Pesto Tomato Dip Mix and Pasta Sauce™ and Lemony Dill Dip Mix and Fish Bake™, are being introduced at the 2008 NASFT Summer Fancy Food Show June 29-July 1, Booth No. 4726.

As with the company’s Hearty Meals™ and Homemade In Minutes® soups, an inventive variation for the dips is offered on the package, according to Trisha Anderson, founder of Frontier Soups. “The two new dips may be mixed with mayonnaise and sour cream and used traditionally as a dip or spread,” Anderson said, “or home cooks can stir the Lemony Dill mix into melted butter for a quick and delicious way to prepare fish. The Pesto Tomato also can be stirred into melted butter for a light, flavorful pasta dish.”

The two new dips are available in clear cellophane ½-ounce packages closed at the top with a printed tag for a suggested retail price of $2.95. Other dips in Frontier Soups’ line include Chipotle Dip and Bread Spread Mix™, Green Onion Dip and Bread Spread Mix™ and Autumn Pumpkin Soup Spice Mix™.
