Impressive panel at the Los Angeles “Uplifting Minds II” Entertainment Conference’s national talent competition on Sunday June 29th at the Los Angeles Convention Center.

Los Angeles, CA, June 13, 2008 --(PR.com)-- The “Uplifting Minds II” Entertainment Conference, presented by Boosweet Enterprises, LLC, returns to Los Angeles at the Los Angeles Convention Center Sat/Sun June 28-29, 2008.. The panel will be full with some impressive entertainment industry executives and artists who will host seminars on Saturday from 1 p.m. – 7 p.m., and judge the national talent competition on Sunday from 1 p.m. – 3 p.m., hosted by KDAY 93.5FM (showcase admission is free).

The seminars will offer topics such as “entertainment law tips” by Richard Jefferson, Esq., “careers in television” by TV producer Chris Denson and “PR/media and promotions” by Eunice Moseley, Director of Promotions The Baltimore Times and syndicated columnist.

The competition showcase for acts in music/vocal (all genres), songwriting and dance will have a panel of judges include radio personality and media mogul Lee Bailey (EURweb.com/RadioScope); Richard Jefferson Esq. (Fagerholm & Jefferson); comedian/actress Luenell (The Rock/ComicView); movie/music casting agent Tiaunte Kelly (Therapy Music/Movie Marketing and Casting; R&B/Soul singer Une’ (UNET/Native/Fontana Universal); Internet radio owner Tyron Moore (Sharp Eye Entertainment); TV producer Chris Denson; award winning jazz guitarist Vernon Neilly (Boosweet Records); Hispanic music producer Carmela Martin (UNET Music and Entertainment), talent promoter Randy Hankins (The School Tour), and actor/music producer Ernest Thomas (Whats Happening/Malcolm X/Everybody Hates Chris).

Competitors with top scores in each category will receive the ULMII Award; an image make-over from New York image consultant Angelo Ellerbee (Mary J Blige); 30 days air-play on Internet radio station Hit Center, courtesy of Tryon Moore; free legal session with Burbank entertainment attorney Richard Jefferson; free voice lesson from New Jersey vocal coach Nadiyah Kareem (Superstar Entertainment); appearance on Platinum Plus TV (Comcast – ATL/Bmore), option on performing on The Los Angeles School Tour, free consultation time with indie label owner Vernon Neilly, and a free session with entertainment psychologist Dr. Jamie Ballard.
