Kalahari's Maher Retires and Names Castro Managing Director, Americas
Kalahari announces that New York based Edward Maher has retired from the company. Ralph Castro has been named Managing Director, Americas following Maher's retirement.

Kalahari, the provider of a trading analytics production platform and ready-to-use real-time pricing solutions, today announced that New York based Edward Maher has retired from the company. Ralph Castro has been named Managing Director, Americas following Maher's retirement.
A veteran in the financial services solutions community, Maher has been instrumental in developing Kalahari’s business in the Americas.
“Since joining Kalahari, Ed has been a trusted and respected manager to our US customers and a leading voice for the financial services industry,” said Graham Mansfield, Managing Director, Kalahari. “We are grateful for his leadership and the numerous contributions Ed has made to our business, clients and associates across the Americas region. Ed will be travelling the world for the foreseeable future and we wish him well on his travels.”
In his new role, Castro will provide business, product and team leadership for Kalahari in the Americas. He will focus on enhancing the customer experience, revenue growth and efforts to strengthen Kalahari’s presence in the Americas.
Ralph comes to Kalahari with over 16 years of technical sales, programming and operational experience. Prior to joining Kalahari, Ralph held various technical posts from Programmer, Project Manager and Application Engineer. In his last post, he was responsible for the sales, marketing and accounting initiatives for a software company in Greenwich, CT generating US$1.2 million in sales while significantly decreasing costs.

Ralph received his Masters in Information Systems from Pace University in 2004 and received his MBA Accounting from University of Maryland in 2006.
An academic at heart, Ralph continuously attends various classes to obtain accreditations in Financial Risk Management and Credit Derivatives.
