Creative Director of Hummingbird Creative Group, Inc. Named to Durham Public Schools Parent Advocacy Board

(www.hummingbird-creative.com), a Cary-based creative services firm, has announced that Juli LaDue, creative director for the firm, has been named to the Durham Public Schools Academically and/or Intellectually Gifted (AIG) Parent Advocacy Board. As a board member, LaDue will be spearheading a chess club, developing the spelling bee competition to lead to the national level and establishing means for more resources, such as laptops and SMART Boards. The board provides a way for parents to offer support for their children and their school’s AIG program. It serves as an advocate for the educational needs of gifted students and for those students who could benefit from the extra challenge that AIG programs offer.
