)-- The Iowa Business Recovery Summit, presented by ActionCOACH and the Cedar Rapids Area Chamber of Commerce, is scheduled for Friday, July 18, 2008, from 8:30 am to 4 pm at Mount Mercy College in Cedar Rapids.
The summit will be presented for Iowa’s business owners impacted by the flood and for businesses that have vital services to offer in the recovery effort, and will feature New Orleans-based ActionCOACH Brian Baudean, who will be speaking on “Lessons from Katrina.”
In addition, the summit will feature a variety of presenters, business success stories, breakout workshops and coaching sessions. Several local business sponsors and agencies will also offer special services and provide free advisory sessions.
Keynote presenters for the summit include ActionCOACH Iowa/Nebraska Team Head Coach David Drewelow and Entrepreneurial Development Center President Curt Nelson.
ActionCOACH Cory Doden, will be flying in from Minnesota to discuss the importance of leadership for the team in critical times.
Presenters will provide practical and simple ideas that can be implemented immediately in businesses impacted by the flooding in the Midwest.
