Sonitrol Pacific Leads Police to Arrest Five Suspected Vandals

Officers arrested five suspected vandals found on top of a school's roof after Sonitrol Pacific detected their activities with audio sensor technology July 17.

Tacoma, WA, July 19, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Police arrested five individuals suspected of vandalism at a Washington school thanks to Sonitrol Pacific’s audio detection technology July 17.

One of Sonitrol Pacific’s expert sound analysts received audio activations from the school and determined the noises she heard were footsteps and laughter. Police were immediately called to respond.

When officers arrived at the school, they found a number of individuals on the roof. After questioning all the suspects, five were taken into custody on various charges.
