)-- Sonitrol Pacific detected two individuals inside a Washington middle school July 3 even though the suspects entered through an unlocked door.
An experienced Sonitrol Pacific operator received a signal from the school and listened to real-time audio to verify the nature of the activity. She heard a radio playing very loudly and received more activations. The operator called sheriff’s deputies.
Officers arrived at the school and located two individuals. According to deputies, the two suspects found an open door at the school and decided to take advantage of the opportunity.
