Merging Credit Unions Agree on KnowledgePortal360 to Facilitate Transition

Summit Credit Union and Great Wisconsin Credit Union Select TFactor's LMS.

Las Vegas, NV, July 21, 2008 --(PR.com)-- To create a single business and culture from the merger of two organizations, Summit Credit Union (Summit CU) and Great Wisconsin Credit Union, has selected TFactor, Inc.’s KnowledgePortal360 as its training and eLearning platform. KnowledgePortal360 is a comprehensive web portal that empowers organizations to create, deliver, and manage a diverse range of classroom, web conference and e-Learning curriculum.

The merged credit unions, which will be known as Summit CU has chosen to take advantage of the enterprise features of the KnowledgePortal360 and Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solution model for the KnowledgePortal360 implementation.

Utilization of the system will begin immediately. KnowledgePortal360’s web conferencing functionality will facilitate “face-to-face” collaboration as the combining staffs plan the transition.

A diligent evaluation process of the market-leading solutions available was led by Tracy Nelson – VP of Training & Development, Kimberly Frederickson – AVP Operations Training, and Tony Klubertanz - AVP Organizational Training. Tony provided the following comments on the decision to partner with TFactor: “As the new leadership team in Training & Development, we were looking for a solution that would allow us to make a leap forward for our members, employees, and the combined credit union. We reviewed a number of systems and determined that the KnowledgePortal360 was that system. Functionality, ease of use, support, and of course cost, were all factors in KnowledgePortal360’s favour.”

TFactor President, Terry Omojola, announced the contract signing: “We are proud to have been selected by the largest credit union in Wisconsin. That KnowledgePortal360 was deemed superior to many very strong competitive solutions confirms our strategy of focusing on the financial services market with a customized solution and learning content.”

Summit CU will roll out its new training curriculum over the next few months, including off-the-shelf courseware and custom modules like Product Knowledge courses developed with the integrated CourseBuilder.
